The Viking - Summer 2015

Post by GTiJohn »

I have emailed out the latest club Newsletter to those with a recorded email address.

Postal copies will be posted out early next week.

Pleas pm if you don't get a copy via your expected delivery method.

Many thanks to Jeremy (aka Montegoman) for the considerable effort in getting the content and putting it all together :clapping
I like Twin Cams, Single Cams, Turbos and 5-cam VVCs :cool

Is the club still doing the Viking?

Given the work to produce it and the small number of members, I'd do 2 or 3 a year tops and get members to write articles. And given that we're in 2017 I'd only send out online. Even older members must be internet literate by now. Fair''s fair. You are volunteers. Club leaflets on paper could be printed for fairs and events.
Anyway; that's how I'd do it!!

The majority of copies of the Viking are emailed out but some people prefer a hard copy and pay that little extra for it. We usually do a 2-sided edition for the big shows rather than give away 24-page ones!

Fair enough. Hats off to you guys for all the work you put in. 24 page magazine for 119 members and far fewer before?

Congrats. :clapping

Matt
I have checked this out and for whatever reason you were on the database as a web member. I have found your payment details and it was as a postal member and so I have changed it. I will send you a copy of the recent magazines in the post. You should still have received the magazine by email. Are you saying you didn't? If so, we must have the wrong email address for you.
