215/40/17 tyres?

Would these be ok as opposed to a 205 40 17?

Looking at federal 595 rsr for my trackdays
1993 Rover 220 GSi Turbo , 2005 MG ZS 180 mk2

i think you'll get rubbing on full lock, 215 is massive.

I cant get the federals in a 205, would have to be nakang ns2r semi slicks :rolleyes

You can get away with it on the ZR as its got a shorter turning circle, when you throw the 17"s on the
25 you have to fit the 205's to stop it rubbing as they have a wider turning circle, guessing the 25 and
R8 share a similar if not the same setup, swap to a ZR rack ?? :S

Trying to get the ZR subframe and rack onto a R8 or 200 is a major ball ache the bulkhead and floor section are completely different

I'm guessing you have never tried fitting the ZR front end on or never realised that the floor and steering rack are completely different
