Any metal steering wheel on a 200 without air bag?

Post by Dorchester »

As the title says is there anywhere some advice about a swap of steering wheel on a 200 cabrio or coupé mk2 for a kind of Momo one or any other metal / leather?
Anybody here who may have done the trick? :drool
Thanks. :)

Well, no suggestion?
Hence I've taken the plunge and ordered a Momo steering wheel & a hub, plus a gear knob.
I hope that will do.

Regarding the hub, they say: "Boss-Hub-Kit-Adapter-Rover-200-214-216-220-400-414-416-420-600-45-ZS-ZR-25"
Not too pricey IMHO: £35 for the knob, £38 for the wheel (clearance sale - special savings, half price they say) & £40 for the adapter, all prices being VAT & shipping included.

I've just received my Momo steering wheel.
But it'll be for later.
In the meantime I've to built a tunnel shelter from a kit for my Rover 25, because the cabby has taken her place in the smaller garage (the bigger one hosting the 75, numerous shelves & the Husqvarna lawnmower).
And today was devoted to the sacred family tradition: I've made my own Xmas luxury (!) pudding as usual, maybe a bit late because it should have been done on Stir-up Sunday... But I assume it will be gorgeous nevertheless! Hark!... :angel
