There is some very nice scenery in the NE Leices and South Lince area, John, and it looks like you found plenty of it!
Some of those photos could easily have been contemporary brochure or road test shots!

Location is pretty central for Manchester, Birmingham, Yorkshire and further away locations well served by M1
