Hi I'm George, I own a 1990 214si 5 door, which hopefully soon the restoration will begin

I have decided once my car has been restored I will name it Phoenix as it hasn't run since about 1999, I joined this club due to my plan to restore it

Shame it wasn’t may 2k as you could have also claimed Phoenix consortium reasons as well.

Surprisingly the rear arches are solid, as well as the seals, I think the engine will need recommisioning work mostly

That's the easier of the 2 generally :D

I just think of her survival is a worthy thing for her restoration, as who would have thought a rover left to the elements under tree in London would survive in relatively good shape, for 22 years
