Hello I have been very lucky to receive a Honda accord 96 2.2 vtec manual saloon.

Does anyone know if the rover 600 shares same parts such as lowering springs. Shocks. Wheels. EXHAUST. Braked. Or anything else

As our club name suggests we really cater for Rover 200s and 400s, plus 25s, 45s and Streetwise but we know a little about the connection between the 600 and the Accord.

As the 600 was built on the Accord platform is highly likely that most of the chassis components would be compatible and powertrain items to where the same engine is fitted to both cars.

Only some engines were shared, namely the 1.8, 20 and 2.3litre 4-cylinder petrol engines with each company fitting their engines.

The Rover L Series diesel engine was also available in both 600 and Accord.

I can’t find it either. There appears to be two Rover 800 clubs but no reference to the 600.

There is an active Rover 600 Owners FB page though which is a small but good community!

In that case seems that only mg-rover.org still have wealth of info regarding Rover 600 as I cannot find it anywhere else. Facebook is not a place where I can find any info when needed. Need to ask and hope those who answered they do know something about these cars.
