i have a non running 1999 rover 200 (214) 1.4 16v twin cam injection.
but wen i put the reg in 4 a insurance quote it says 1.4 IS or SI 8v???
is it not the standard engine from origional???
plz help cheers.

1.4 IS will be the 16v you say you have

its now running just needs tax and mot!!
but wen i put the reg in the car description said 8v even tho its a 16v so just abit confused as why it said that

You'd probably be best to call your insurance company then.
Internet insurance fails in my experience.
