Can anyone confirm this is the only metal pipe on a k-series?

There are two; one running around the block under the inlet manifold [the pic looks wrong] and another that screws onto the front subframe under the rad' it takes a feed from the expansion bottle.

Can you get them to use arc rods on mine and leave plenty of snots as I want the welds to match the OEM ones.
