Thanks everyone.
Can’t tell you how pleased I am with the car. I’ve been working through the little issues. I now have a working temp gauge and a fan that kicks in but it’s not holding temperature so I suspect the thermostat is either stick open…. Or missing. Will resolve this week.
I’ve bought a kit to reattach the tab to the heated rear window - will let you know how good it is. I need to clean up 3 of the 4 door switches which don’t light the interior light. I’ve just fixed the boot light and boot flood lights - a nearby too-long bolt for an earth fitted by someone was pushing the wire off the boot latch. Rear wiper fix next.
Nicer condition wood trim has arrived for me to fit to the door trims and I’ve fitted a better radio and some decent speakers and a replacement passenger electric mirror.
