Ill also post this here, as its of interest to owners in this club (if not more so)....
The Rover Coupe Owners Club will be hosting on our stand one of our new members, Andrew Revill who has done LOTS of work on understanding, Mapping, cloning, MEMS3 ECUs. You can read more about his work here:-
https://andrewrevill.co.uk/ . Andrews own car is a Caterham, but that can't come into the BL show - so we will be using a Rover 25GTI for demonstrations (that runs MEMS3 as standard)
Obviously, we don't run MEMS3 ECUs in Rover Coupes as standard, but many people have converted to MEMS3, and it might be usful for anyone considering doing so to attend.
However - There is an added Bonus. Andrew has invited James Portman along as well. He is the chap behind
https://rovermems.com/ - and what's more - James has developed techniques where IT IS possible to map the earlier mems (MEMS2J on the VVC) and I think he is looking into mapping MEMS1.6 (used on the Turbo and NASP) and MEMS 1.9 (used on the post '96 1.6)
This really is an excellent oppotunity to meet and talk with some of the "experts" in these fields.
As well as this, the RCOC will also have our shop, which includes Post-96 Remote Radio Clock repairs (we offer an exchange, and will swap them for you at the show), T4 diagnostics (we can programme spare Lucas fobs for you, and have some refurbished ones for sale), 200/400 rear light seals, and T-Series Turbo Cam Sensors. All of which, attract a discount to 200/400 club members.
