Im no trained mechanic but i have always done my own servicing, inc brakes, dont be put off doing it your self, follow the manual if you have one and if your worried ask a garage for advice. My rover cabriolet is my 27th car and im still here after doing the brakes on each of them. When you do the job just make sure before you take it apart check the hoses, joint etc and if you think there may be a problem get a local garage to check it out before you start the work.

If you changed the discs & pads in the summer they shouldn't be worn out yet! How many miles have you covered since? My discs & pads will last at least 12 months with the car driving everyday! David W
