I wonder if Rejel still have the extrusion tool? If so, it would be useful if it didn't get put in a skip!

Thanks, it’s really appreciated. I do have a small list of part numbers by the laptop I search for once in a while. It’s surprising how things surface out of the blue.

It may be down to trying to find an aftermarket strip that will do the job.

16mm wide at the top and a similar profile to the one Plodder is kindly offering you. Even has a peel-off adhesive strip at the front by the looks of it. Price per metre isn't bad either, but the problem is you'd have to get a metre to just see if the profile is any good. Message the seller and see if you can get a sample?

That looks very like the unsatisfactory one fitted with my last replacement windscreen.
It's designed to overlap the adjacent panel, rather than abut as we would prefer.
