And is that an original pair of tailpipe trims I see lurking under the rear bumper?

Re: Rover 216 Cabriolet
It's got twin tailpipes - is that standard for the DOHC? I'm assuming it's the original exhaust! Didn't realise the tailpipe finishers were rare - I'll have to make sure I keep them whenever the exhaust needs renewing!220 GSi turbo wrote:And is that an original pair of tailpipe trims I see lurking under the rear bumper?

Surely a family member could have sold it for her.
I only found out about my Grandad's MG Maeistro Turbo because my Nan 'forgot about it'
sat there in the garage for 14 years, after spending about £350 on it to replace all the
fluids including brakes and fitting a battery I had to sell it as I was quoted £3,800 to get
insured on it.

I knocked through from one room to the next in my last place.1234dist wrote:i don't get your point, that just looks like the morning after a decent party
No good though. I wanted to finish up with a new lick of paint, but I couldn't reach what was the front bedroom ceiling whilst standing in the lounge.
And to be honest, everyone says knocking-though gives you more space. I genuinely didn't find this, and had trouble fitting in an extra bed, wardrobe, etc.

Re: Rover 216 Cabriolet
It made sense at ours mate as the k1tchen is barley a rectangle and is small, it had the door
off the hall, the back door, an area under the stairs and two windows, no space for any
worktops, we bricked up the back door and the small window, boarded up under the stairs
and the original doorway then knocked through into the back room/dining room, got 80%
worktops all round now, maximised what little space we had.
