Oh No
I think I may have written off my cabby tonight as I have inadvertantly run into the back of an Audi A4, fortunately everyone is alright but the front of the old girl is a mess. Can't see the insurance fixing it. Absolutely gutted.

Re: Side Window Covers
Funnily enough as I was driving out of work today I saw a MG ZR with the back side windows cover in what looked like a black plastic moulding. Made it look like some sort of van to be honest.

Re: Failed on emissions
Thanks ETV, as the car was tested when I wasn't there I can't say if the lambda values were switching and also I haven't a clue where the lambda sensor heater relay is or how to check it

Failed on emissions
As in the title, 216 cabby with the k series engine. Any thoughts, these are the fail points, bloke in the garage reckons it's the cat but obviously don't want it changed if that isn't the cause. Fast Idle Test CO %vol max limit 0.300 actual value 1.172 Lambda min limit 0.950 max limit 1.090 actual ...

Re: Dilemma
Mate I work with has got a MGTF and to be fair I like it. Suspensions a bit hard and every now and then something falls off or breaks but it runs very well. He had an MX5 before and honestly said that that was a better car all round but doesn't regret getting the MG. Even though MX5's are really goo...

Re: Outer drivers door handle replacement
Good write up but when I changed both on my cabby I didn't have to take the glass out, biggest pain was actually getting the old handles out and the new handles in. Took about an hour all told in the snow.

Door Handles
Bit of a dilemma here and a dose of hard luck. About 2 weeks ago the drivers outside door handle on my cabby went a bit stiff then really loose almost immediately and wouldn't open the door. Not worry I thought I'll go in through the passenger side and in my own time take the door card off and have ...
