Very Early 214

Post by pulsar214 »

Recently joined this forum thigummy bob!

Many thanks to all those I met at the park at the Longbridge bash! I`m the chap with the pre-prod 214 R8 G plate.

I felt proud to meet so many like minded passionate petrol heads on the day.

Up the Rover!

Wha thank you all for the comments. Its by no means concourse, but there again I dont want it to be either.

It was purchased via ebay for £150 and has passed 2 mot`s in my hands with just 2 tyres & pair of front struts needed. I never intended to keep it really but i`ve kind of fallen for the damn thing.

Some items of note...

Fitted with later Rover 200 heater surround (mock wood) I did a similar thing on an SEi I used to own and the article was run in RoverTorque

Original Head Gasket
Original Gearbox (with reverse detent still operational)

Used as my daily smoker of which my missus says its a car that refuses to die. The car runs superb and theres never any coolant issues, uses no water, no oil. Its just a smashing little car!
