I think so, not sure. Any way I can look it up?
I remember last year I drove past the place where the old rover factory used to be in Brum, shame it's gone :(
Didn't the Concertos made in Brum come with 'Rover' stamped onto the ID plate on the base of the pillar on the driver's side? At least here in Germany they are - because of that - listed as Rovers on the official databases instead of Honda.
welcome I worked in the factory where we used to make all the wiring harness for the rover 200 and Honda concerto's, they were all made on the same assembly line with slightly altered wiring for the Honda's, and i think if i remember that the indicator stalk is on the right hand side, Japanese style as opposed to the left as on most European cars.
If you look under the bonnet at the wiring you will notice yellow stickers and printed on them will be the name of the factory( Lucas Sei) and the date of manufacture. the yellow stickers are the test labels at the end of the harness production line and they are on all of the wiring in various places on the cars.
I worked there from 1990 to 1999 that's when the factory closed and all the work was sent to the polish factory , http://bit.ly/b2qfmn the HHR and tourer and civic estate were made there also some rover 600 and Accord's too , there was another Lucas sei factory in Sunderland. I still work at the factory but it's now a Ladder manufacture
