worst mod

Post by discodude »

hi all, have you ever done a mod to your car thinking it was great/cool/different only to realise it was a bad idea?then remove it from your motor? think mine was going from 15s to aftermarket 15s!6 months later i went for 17s.this was helped though by the laquer comeing off my polished 15s.and yes the same happened to my 17s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!original 15s going back on at some stage.

looking back ive had loads of rubbish mods but at the time thought they were fairly cool. exhausts bigger than your head, massive body kits and stereo systems that made your nose bleed but 10 years ago that sort of stuff was popular. when i see 1.1 corsas and saxos etc.... tearing down the high street, i snigger a little but i have to remember i was 17 once and did that kind of thing. i think this kind of stuff still has its place in the car scence but its best left to the jap boys with supras and skylines.

The plasma gauges weren't so bad, if that's what you're referring to :P But OEM is better, for sure :*laughs*
