Re: 1994 220 Sli rotor arm
Thanks for the reply. The extra one ordered was correct - the part numbers in my original post are correct - wrong part in box!

1994 220 Sli rotor arm
I've bought a replacement rotor arm this week for my car, and it doesn't fit. I was supplied with Intermotor part number 47661S which cross-refs QH(?) P/No XR242. The bore is too small to fit over dizzy shaft due to it having a metal insert moulded in (also pinch-bolt hole is too small). I've been b...

Idle speed varies
The idle speed has begun to vary on my 1994 220 Sli (nasp). In the past it's been consistent around 900 rpm. Recently, after fully warming up it's sometimes around 1500 rpm then may drop back a bit, sometimes to just below 1000. Sometimes when sitting in traffic increases by a few hundred revs, some...

Central Locking
Hi guys, Help needed please. Operating the "lock" button on the fob on our 2005 Rover 45, the alarm/immobiliser arms but the central locking does not activate. All fuses under-bonnet beneath cover by passenger side bulkhead are OK. Is this where C/L fuse is located? Is there a relay that i...

Re: Rover 45 wet footwell
Dave,
I've received a reply on another forum asking whether the passenger side is dry as the mk2 zs/45 has a well known water leak through the heater intake, but it normally soaks the pollen filter and passenger footwell.
May be of relevance to you.

Rover 45 wet footwell
The driver's footwell carpet in our 2005 Rover 45 has recently been soaking wet during the wet weather. Does anyone know of a common cause? It is the upper side of the carpet which is wet; as the backing appears waterproof I wouldn't think the water is getting through from the floor side. Andrew and...
