Re: Headliner - Replacing scrimfoam but retaining material

Thanks Iain. Would that be for them to do the job or for them to supply the material?

Headliner - Replacing scrimfoam but retaining material

Has anyone replaced the scrim foam in their headlining but retained the original grey material? If so, what adhesive was used to stick the original grey material to the new scrim foam? Looking at samples of various replacement headlining material, none of them seem to have the same texture as the or...

Re: Heater Controls 94 216

You don't have to take the dash to bits - the knobs just pull off (carefully). It is probable that the plastic sleeves have fractured and are no longer holding the metal insert tight, so they rotate without actually gripping the inner shaft. In all probability you'll have to try and find some good, ...

Re: 420 R8 drive shaft

Did you use a new snap ring? If you reused the old one it could well have broken, or dislocated, when you refitted the driveshaft. Many years ago I had this problem, on a 216 Honda engine, when a mechanic did a repair for me. After the repair, first time on full lock, the driveshaft dropped out. Whe...

Re: R8 416 Front Subframe

I suggest you send a PM to 961tat on here. Worst case is you get a K series front subframe and have the Honda engine mount transplanted from your old one. 961tat can probably still do this. I've got a couple of NOS K series front-subframes if you can't get one from elsewhere.

Re: Spark Plugs - Rover 45 1.6L (16K4) 2001

So, 3546 appears to be the part number for PFR6N-11. According to Motaclan this is the correct plug for your car. As you say, there's a lot of different references for the plugs and it is a bit of a minefield. According to the HWM - Bosch FR 7 D+, or equivalent. NGK 3783, NGK BCPR6ES, NGK BKR6E, NGK...
