It does look very good, what arch repair panel did they use? It was just a normal 200/400 panel they used. They only needed the arch lip and bottom corner from it. That was enough to repair ours. The bodyshop said the shape was exactly the same so a little bit of beating was needed but this goes to...

Coupe Interior Light Problem
I'm pretty new to fixing R8 problems as my knowledge of fixing cars is mostly on my Montego but my Coupe has an interior light fault but I cannot see how they work. My Montego has an interior light switch on the inner door pillar of the door but the coupe doesn't seem to have these. Basically, the i...

I need to get mine done too. Could I ask how much it cost as a price guide? It was quite expensive at £430 inc VAT but it is a top notch job, no bodging at all. All the rot has been cut out, all new metal has been grafted in and the whole rear quarter sprayed and driver doors blended. I've paid les...

VVC Coupe body work completed
Our Coupe's rear quarter panel was in a bit of a state when we bought it and it really was letting the car down. We have now had it repaired and the car is like new again and we love it more than ever. Here are some of the "before" pics: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v501/Montyboy/100_...

1995 214SLi Temperature Gauge issue
Hi Guys Was wondering if you could help with an issue on my mum 214 R8. From cold, when you turn the ignition on, the temperature gauge goes straight to top as far as it will go and stays there. The car is running fine, the engine does not over heat and there are no coolant issues. Any ideas what th...

Yep, I've had the VVC since July. Its had a ton of work done and now its really great to drive. Hoping to get it finished over winter. In buying the VVC and the 45, I decided to move away from Montys (to part time atleast :*laughs*: ) so I limited myself to just my HL. The HLS ended up needing far t...

My name is Ed, I am based in Ipswich and have an R reg VVC Coupe that I am restoring. Work is needed to the bodywork. Radiator and cat replacement is due shortly. I've always been a fan of the R8, I have had coupes before and 214SEi's. My mum still uses a late 214SLi on a N plate which is an all sil...
