I sold my 214 SEI and now gone for top end luxury and economy, bought a 1997 Rover 825 SD turbo Fastback.

Why do you want to lower the car? Is it for performance or looks? If you use a lowering kit with standard shocks then the ride will get a little harsher due to the smaller amount of suspension travel. Remember to adjust the bumpstops if necessary to prevent the car rideing on them all the time. If ...

wet seat

We had a pretty severe rain storm in Kidderminster today and when I got in my 214 sei the seat was wet as can be seen in the photo, has anyone any idea where it could be coming from? 20mpg was short 2 mile journeys from cold but on motorway I got 30mpg still not what you would call an economical car to drive but oh the power now that was something else.
