Ah thats a nice idea, i was thinking about doing somthing like that, saw a friend of mine last night who works for the local ford dealership, unfortuantly there was mgf brought in on scrappage so he got me the mirror a few more bits all for a pint

Cheers, it was well easy to do to be honest. My best mate has got a 1996 range rover and thats where i got the idea from.
Makes a huge difference at night as well, just want to fit an mgf mirror now!

nah they are just wired up off the interior lights so they only come on when u open the door, quite cool as they fade out with the interior light when u shut the door!

Went for a little jolly up to the scrappy today and I pinched some interior lights from a metro, wired them up and i was well chuffed, just bridged the wires from the inside of the windscreen pillar, wiring was as follows purple wire to purple wire on metro light purple & red to purple and white...

yeah deffo mate, its a good route to go down if I cant get hold of some leather, there is a place in Telford that sells it, re-covered half of the inside on my old mini with it!
